Mask of six Moons is a free adventure game you can play right in your browser. Expect dungeon, fantasy and pixel. It plays in a landscape window and is controlled with keyboard or mouse. It is designed mainly for computers; on a phone, turn it sideways and try fullscreen.

From the developer

Mask of Six Moons is a pixel-art action platformer. Dive through the moon gates, battle monsters and loot weapons from Common all the way to the ultra-rare Phantom tier. Choose from 12 weapon types, including greatswords, scythes, hammers, bows, staffs and chain whips, each with its own moves.

Every weapon rolls random bonuses, and rare ones carry unique effects. Level up, spend points on five stats and unlock dash, double jump and wall jump. Two gates are open now: the Sunken Crypt, guarded by the Drowned Carillon, and the Fungal Caverns, ruled by the Mother Bloom.

More gates are coming in future updates.

How to play

1. Move A D or arrow keys.

Tips

• Pause for a second before a tricky section and watch the hazard pattern first.
• Look for common endings like -ING, -ED and -ER to find longer words.
• Collect everything on early levels; the rewards help later.
